A common men's sneaker conversion. Brands vary by half a size or more; the listing's own chart wins when it has one.

To measure, stand on a sheet of paper in the evening, mark heel and longest toe, and measure between the marks. Match that length to the listing's millimetre column if it has one; it's more reliable than converting sizes. Decode a Chinese clothing label

Chinese labels describe the person the garment is cut for. The first number is height in centimetres; the second is chest girth on tops and waist girth on bottoms; the letter is build, from Y (slim) through A (regular) to B and C (fuller).

So the common advice to size up one holds for fitted pieces. Oversized streetwear is the exception — many Weidian hoodies and tees are already cut big, and your usual size is often right. The label is a starting point; the chart's centimetres decide.

Fitted cap sizes from head circumference

Computed: a fitted size is the head circumference in inches divided by π.

Fitted caps such as 59FIFTY styles are sized by head circumference: divide it in inches by π and you get the number on the sticker. Measure just above the ears and eyebrows with a soft tape. If you fall between two sizes, the larger one is usually more comfortable; a fitted can't be adjusted. The cap sheet lists fitteds and snapbacks.

Measuring once, ordering right

1. Measure something you already own that fits the way you like, of the same kind — a hoodie for a hoodie.
2. Lay it flat and measure chest (armpit to armpit), length (shoulder seam to hem) and sleeve, in centimetres.
3. Check the chart's convention. Some Weidian charts give flat width, others full round chest; the round figure is about twice the flat one.
4. Choose the size closest in centimetres, allowing 1–2 cm for how different people measure.
5. Put the size in Sugargoo's order remark and, if you're unsure, ask for a measurement photo at QC. An exchange is only practical while the item is still in the warehouse — returns must be requested within five days of arrival.

For trousers, Chinese charts usually list the garment's relaxed waist rather than a body measurement. Measure across the waistband of a pair you own and double it.
