The one-star reviews are rarely about the first order; they describe what happens when something goes wrong: slow or refused refunds and, some say, account restrictions after a return. Hacoo replies to 99% of negative reviews, typically within a week.

Sugargoo's page is polarised too, but its published refund policy gives you something concrete: refunds within 24 hours before purchase, 3 working days once bought, 10 once warehoused, and ¥50–¥200 compensation coupons if it runs late. Sugargoo's pricing has more lines. You pay the item and the seller's domestic delivery first; the international freight comes later, charged by the weight of the whole parcel and the line you choose. Sugargoo's own estimate example priced 3 kg of clothing to the UK at about $27.94. That's more than $4.99, but it covers a box of several pieces from different shops, each one photographed before it left China. The cost per item drops as the parcel fills up, which is the opposite of an app where every order pays its own shipping.

Verdict: One or two cheap pieces: Hacoo's flat shipping wins. Five or more: a combined Sugargoo parcel usually costs less per item.

Moving from Hacoo to Sugargoo

If you've been buying on Hacoo and want to try Sugargoo, start small. Pick three items from the Sugargoo spreadsheet, one of them something you already know your size in, and ship them together.
