How agent links are built

Agents all need to tell their own system which marketplace item you mean, so their links follow a handful of patterns:

The converter decodes each line up to three times, looks for a marketplace address first, and falls back to a platform name plus an ID. The result is the address the seller's listing actually lives at, which Sugargoo's search opens directly.

Links the converter can't rescue, and what to do

A few kinds of link can't be converted here, and the result box says which:

• Taobao short codes (m.tb.cn, e.tb.cn) redirect through Taobao's servers. Open one in a browser, copy the long address it lands on, and convert that — Sugargoo's own guide notes that short links often fail in its search too.
• Shop links such as shop.weidian.com point to a whole store, not an item. Open the shop and copy the item you want.
• Internal agent numbers. Some agents use their own product numbers with no marketplace ID inside. Open the link while the agent still works, or find the item by photo in the seller's shop.
• Deleted listings. If the seller removed the item, the ID leads nowhere at any agent.

For links from Xianyu, Xiaohongshu or a seller's chat, which Sugargoo's search can't read at all, use its DIY order form and enter the item by hand.

From a converted link to a Sugargoo order

1. Paste an original link into Sugargoo's search bar and open the item.
2. Pick the exact variant. Old sheets rarely say which colour or print a row meant; check the photo in the sheet.
3. Write the variant in the remark if the listing names it differently from the sheet.
4. Check the size with the Sugargoo size chart.
5. Collect items in the warehouse — they're stored free for 100 days — and estimate the parcel with the shipping calculator.
