The short version

Package remarks on Sugargoo are the free-text notes you add for the people who handle your order — on an item, which size, colour or print you want; on a parcel, how it should be packed. Sugargoo's own guides use remarks for variant details ("black, size L, the second print") on DIY orders. The other terms that confuse people: Rehearsal Shipping is an ¥18 test pack that shows the real billable weight; DIY Order is the manual form for links Sugargoo can't read; and an order marked Completed hasn't reached you — it has reached Sugargoo's warehouse.

What does package remarks mean on Sugargoo?

"Package remarks sugargoo meaning" is one of the most searched Sugargoo phrases, and the reason is simple: the box is there, it isn't mandatory, and nobody tells you what it's for. Sugargoo's published guides don't define the field word for word, but they show how remarks are used — as instructions for the staff buying and packing your items.

What to put in a remark

  • On an item: the exact variant, in the seller's words where possible — "colour: black / 黑色, size: L, style 2". Multi-style listings ("[40 styles]") are where wrong-item mistakes start.
  • On a parcel: packing instructions that aren't already an add-on — "please keep the dust bags", "fold hoodies flat", "no extra filler".
  • Requests about the QC: "please photograph the size tag" or "measure the chest width". Photograph and inspection services exist as add-ons; a remark makes clear what you want checked.

What not to put in a remark

Anything that asks the warehouse to misdescribe the parcel to customs. Declared values and descriptions are your responsibility, under-declaring is illegal, and a remark won't change how a line clears. Keep remarks short, specific and in English or Chinese; long paragraphs get skimmed.

Verdict: A good remark answers the one question the buyer would otherwise have to guess: which variant, and how to pack it.

What do Sugargoo's order statuses mean?

The status that trips people up most is Completed. It means the item has arrived at Sugargoo's warehouse, not at your door — the international part hasn't started. From Sugargoo's cancellation guide:

Once a parcel ships, a second set of statuses takes over in My Parcel → Check Logistics: received by the carrier, sent to export customs, customs inspection, arrived in the destination country, out for delivery. Those come from the carrier, so the wording varies by line.

Is Sugargoo's rehearsal shipping worth ¥18?

Rehearsal Shipping costs ¥18 and does one thing well: it replaces the estimated weight with the real one before you pay. Sugargoo packs the parcel as it would ship it and reports the actual weight and the volumetric weight. You then choose the line knowing which of the two you'll be billed on.

It pays for itself on bulky parcels — trainers, jackets, anything boxed — where volumetric weight can outrun the scale. On a light parcel of tees, the estimate is usually close enough to skip it. The steps, from Sugargoo's guide: Packing Center → select items and country → Rehearsal Shipping → choose add-ons → choose the line → pay.

Verdict: Rehearse boxed or bulky parcels. Skip it for a bag of tees.

When should you use a DIY order?

Sugargoo's search bar reads Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Tmall and JD links. When it can't — a Xianyu listing, a Xiaohongshu post, a shortened link — use DIY Order. You fill in the product name, shop, link if you have one, unit price, quantity and the seller's domestic delivery fee (Sugargoo's buyers confirm it if you don't know), plus a remark with the variant, and optional photos.

It's also the fallback for old spreadsheet rows. If a link converted from a closed agent won't open in the search bar, DIY Order still lets Sugargoo's team buy it, and the link converter gives you the clean original link to paste into the form.
