What size should you order in Sugargoo shoe listings?

Most shoe listings on Weidian give EU sizes; some give foot length in millimetres instead ("265" means a 26.5 cm foot). Measure your foot standing, heel to the tip of the longest toe, in the evening when feet are largest, then find the row below.

A widely used sneaker chart; brands vary by half a size. Use the listing's own chart when it has one. The full chart is in our size converter.

Model quirks matter more than the chart, and the card notes flag them where they're well documented — Sambas run long and slim, and Dunk Lows are usually true to size but narrower than an Air Force 1. When a listing offers "half sizes" only in some colourways, check the variant you want actually has yours.

Verdict: Measure in centimetres, match the foot-length column, then adjust for the model — not the other way round.

How do you stop shoe boxes inflating shipping?

Shoes are the heaviest thing most people ship through Sugargoo, and the box is often the problem rather than the pair. Couriers bill the larger of real weight and volumetric weight — a calculation from the box's length, width and height — and a rigid shoe box is mostly air.

1. Choose "remove the shoe box" when you submit the parcel. It's one of Sugargoo's item-level add-ons. Keep the box only if you want it for resale or storage.
2. Rehearse bulky parcels. For ¥18 Sugargoo packs the parcel and shows its real and volumetric weight before you pick a line.
3. Pick an actual-weight line where you can. Lines with "Actual Weight" in the name bill on the scale, which suits boxed or bulky shoes.
4. Mix with soft items. Tees and hoodies fill the gaps around a pair without adding much volume.

Verdict: Unless you need the box, drop it. It's the cheapest shipping saving on a shoe haul.

What to check in Sugargoo QC photos of shoes

Sugargoo sends free QC photos when the pair reaches the warehouse. Shoes reward a slow look, because returns are only realistic within five days of arrival:

• Both shoes, side by side, from above. Toe shape and height should match.
• The size tag inside the tongue. Confirms you got the size you ordered — the most common shoe mistake.
• Sole edges and glue lines. Excess glue or gaps where the upper meets the sole show up in close-ups.
• Stitching on overlays. Even spacing, no loose threads at stress points.
• Insole length, if you're between sizes. Ask for a tape-measure photo in the order remark.
